How Habivista keeps listings safer
The checks, signals, and limits behind safer Ghana property search.
No marketplace can remove every risk from a property transaction, but Habivista is built to reduce the most common harms: cloned listings, fake agents, illegal advances, and rushed payments.
Verification signals
Habivista may check agent identity, agency details, ownership evidence, property media, listing consistency, and transaction risk before a listing is marked verified.
What verified means
A verified listing has passed Habivista's checks at the time of review. It does not guarantee that every future conversation, payment request, or off-platform promise is safe. Keep using written receipts and sensible payment controls.
What we watch for
- Photos reused from unrelated properties.
- Prices far below the neighbourhood range.
- Advance months above legal residential limits.
- Agents using inconsistent names or phone numbers.
- Listings with unclear ownership or missing location context.
- Repeated reports from renters, buyers, or other agents.
Your role
Ask for written terms, inspect before paying, confirm who receives money, and keep proof of every transaction. Report suspicious behaviour early so the team can intervene before more users are exposed.
